Zbynek “Zeebee” Pavelcik

Founder of Elements Snowsport

Growing up near the mountains in the Czech Republic, my passion for skiing started in early childhood, when I spent every free moment on the slopes. In my teenage years, I competed in skiing, and in my 20s, I began my journey as a ski instructor. For the first eight years, I worked in the Czech mountains, where I earned the highest Czech qualification and became a member of the APUL team of trainers and examiners, training new instructors in both skiing and snowboarding. I also worked independently as a private ski and snowboard instructor.

In 2011, I participated with the APUL demo team at the Interski Congress in St. Anton, Austria. I hold an international ISIA CARD license and meet the CTT requirements at the EU level. Additionally, I possess the highest Swiss national license as a Snow Sports Instructor with a Federal Certificate of Higher Vocational Education and Training. I have extensive experience working in ski schools in LAAX and St. Moritz, as well as in New Zealand, Australia, and the USA.

In all these locations worldwide, I have gained experience as a private ski instructor, group instructor for children and adults, coach at freestyle and freeride camps, guide for corporate ski events, and family guide in top ski resorts.

Martina Pavelcik

My name is Martina, and at 34 years old, I can proudly say that I’ve spent half of my life – 17 wonderful years – dedicated to teaching the art of skiing. For me, it’s not just about technique; it’s about helping others build the confidence to fully embrace the joy and freedom of the slopes, turning every winter vacation into an unforgettable adventure.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working as a ski instructor in some incredible places—starting in the Czech Republic, then exploring the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand and Australia, and for the past several years, honing my skills in the prestigious ski resorts of Switzerland.

Now, as a mother, I’ve come to understand the importance of patience and empathy, qualities I bring to every lesson—whether I’m working with children or adults. These values are at the heart of my approach, ensuring that each person, regardless of their age or skill level, feels supported and confident on the snow.

Currently, I teach mostly in the regions of Laax and Flims, where I now reside with my family. This beautiful corner of the world has become my home, and I’m beyond excited to welcome you here, to share its beauty and help you experience the thrill of skiing amidst these magnificent mountains.
